I loved being so close to the cricket ground. It's like a ten minute walk! breakfast was seriously amazing, a proper full english. getting to the city center for dinner was so easy, just a short trip plus the cathedral, wow!
the bathroom could have been cleaner, i suppose. the toilet seat was just a bit sticky, and the corners in the bathroom had some dirt. it's minor, but i noticed it.

The room was spacious and very clean. I especially liked the garden views. The staff were polite and eager to help with anything I needed. The outdoor area was very relaxing. I also thought it was nice that a fan was provided in the room since the night was warm.
There was no bedside lamp available and just one light switch for the bedroom on the far wall from the shower room.

Breakfast included a good variety of items, ensuring everyone could find something they liked. Replenishments were frequent. The breakfast area features very cute decor with the glass windows facing the park, enjoyable. I found the dining area to be very clean.

The staff members were friendly and approachable. They provided prompt help with all requests. Every staff member I encountered seemed helpful. The reception staff assisted me with local directions and recommendations for local attractions.

The self-catering cottage provided a perfect base for my family including our dogs. The cottage was comfortable and clean, which I greatly appreciated. The staff members were consistently pleasant and efficient .
I found the room to be slightly compact for a king room. this did not impact the quality of my stay.

The noise was excessive. I heard loud sounds beginning at 7 AM. My room lacked soundproofing, and this made resting difficult. The staff seemed unconcerned when I mentioned it.

i found the location excellent and close to the town center. my room included a fan and it was useful during a hot day. i also noticed i could open the window wide, really nice. the reception staff were both pleasant and helpful. i appreciated the excellent parking facilities.
the room design felt slightly dated, and i observed that some minor improvements to the decor would be welcome. this is a very minor point and did not affect my stay.
